I got the quest and I try to catch them, but they keep running although I spray them.
All I want to know that I can catch them and the reason they running away is not because you can't do the quest for
some reason.
Or should I try and try again?

Just a hint for you this time. Most of the fun comes from figuring out what to do with those boosts. Almost every one of Indy's quests needs a boost.

Those Mangroves are fast (and thankfully they don't move that fast in real life swamps), so what boost will speed you up and pay attention to who is given the boost. The character even says they will be the one who catches them. And don't forget you will lose the effect of any boost if you get in any battle. So, while you can find 4 of them and use only 1 boost; it will require planning to pull that off.

This is how you do it.
1. Get the quest from Fenlyr
2. Go out to the next screen (the one with the bridge) and first kill all the enemies there.
3. Go to the beginning of this screen (pg.93 in the guide) and use AGI boost on Lilith.
4. Touch the 3 managroves over there and quest complited.
5. Go up to the next screen and touch the 4th mangrove.
6. Go back to Fenlyr and get good price!

I did not think that every quest should be used with boosts. I try.

It's a slight exageration made by kimo there. Many quests involve killing a big monster without the need for a boost, for instance.

That's a pretty fair assessment.
Some quests also more focus on sheer battle power.
