I told you already there is a resting point at the beginning of the place.
Just use Exit Danger from the Main Menu (3rd row).

I am playing on Normal mode and I found the early part of the game to be difficult, not undoable, just a bit more difficult than most RPG's. I expected this as most of Indy's fans want that difficulty and it's why I chose Normal over Hard. Are you playing on Easy or Normal? That said, there is a huge difference between the technics at non-mastered (less than 60 uses) and mastered (60+ uses). Are you advancing your offensive skills to mastery level? IIRC, your party consists of Nash, Sarah, Zelina and Baretta. Nash does quite a bit of damage with his Dragonbite skill. I had Sarah use Slasher quite a bit, selecting Nash each time as even his normal attack was pretty effective. I think I had Zelina alternate between regular attack (to increase FP points) and Ice Spear). Baretta was fairly useless and I only used her to dole out items. But, if you're out of items, I found that her best offensive spell was Drama. Look at what you're equipping. Is there a weapon that has a chance of bleeding and/or paralyzing? I'm sure you'll find a strategy that will work for you.
