Playing in hard mode. What level do I have to be to beat Zantheratus?

He's in the Kennezzeer Hole. No matter what I do, I lose the fight, he says "Way too easy," and I end up back in town. Is th at what's supposed to happen?

We're stuck in kenezzeer hole and we can't beat ZANTHRATUS nor progress past Telvan. Now what???!?

He's not an optional boss. He isn't easy but if the trio and especially Sandy are under levelled, doing a quick session of levelling up should help a lot. Try to also develop the best skills and spells of the group.

Great. Well, took 17 times and finally won Zantheratus & got the book. Yay.
NOW, at the Archery Guild 25+ times, We get CLOBBERED in the 3rd round of wasps.
I'd level up somewhere if I could....

And, how on earth do I get Makaza'ik to stay at the inn in Avast for the Hunters Guild?!???
(something to do with only 399/500 coercion points?)
