I did what you suggested and still am not able to pick it up. I don't know what else to do even check inventory and not there.

I clicked on the plant from all 4 sides, nothing. I L-mouseclicked, the image disappeared, and I got a dialogue saying this is what we need, let's head back to the castle. Nothing shows in the inventory, but when I exit the dungeon, the castle is under siege, so I'm thinking I got what I needed.

That means it worked.

I did what you suggested and still am not able to pick it up. I don't know what else to do even check inventory and not there.

You have to stand right next to it, but not on top of it, then you have to click on it with your mouse.
I'll see if I can work on something to make this more intuitive. In the time being, let me know if my suggestion works for you, please.

I did all of what you suggested and and still nothing. I use the mouse and all I get is a red box and I start to click and nothing yet. I don't know what I am doing wrong. When I started to play this game I love it. So I am not giving up just yet

Hi everyone,

I am so sorry to hear a couple of people are having issues with the magic mushrooms - similar to Lady JJ I just clicked on them, got the dialogue, never checked until later whether the ingredient was there or not (it wasn't) but the burning buildings sort of took my focus. This would have been all during the demo version. I'm feeling very fortunate apart from my brief brush with a Microsoft Windows update

I now have progressed to level 30-31 for most characters, really enjoying the very large dungeons which seem to go on and on with sneaky areas to get into. Been knocking on walls and niches. I often need to go through twice to check I haven't missed anything major - it helps that the enemies do not re-spawn as I can then tell where I've been.

Although I am finding the story good, it is a bit skimpy at times with me needing to fill in some blanks. There appears to have been a whole lot of history and background that feels as though it is missing...for the underground people, the war between the surface people and underground, and how and why the surface people had to go underground and now want to return topside. Maybe you are just wanting us to use our imaginations and fill in the blanks...

I have now got the second part of the artifact so presumably heading to confront the evil sister. I am about 8 hours in.

Crow - I particularly wanted to compliment you on the number of treasure chests, great gear, and multiple interesting spells/skills that keep the battles fresh and new. I have equipped Riven with the Wraith and Berserker Belts and while I don't like not being in control of a character, he is a BEAST and almost lets no one else get a look in All of this has been immensely satisfying!

What a wonderful feedback, MerryX, thank you for taking the time to write it.
For this game, I wanted to have the NPCs in town talking about their background history in a natural and organic way, I wanted to see if that would give the game a more natural approach to storytelling.

I'm glad you're having a good time exploring the dungeons and using the equipments in battle, hiding those items took quite some time!

It doesn't say anything at all. I've retraced my steps at least 5 times. Do I have to be at a certain level or do I have to do everything in a certain order? Thanks for trying to help,

You have to stand right next to the plant and click on it. There is no added requirement.

I have still tried to get the sage and still am not able to get it. I use the mouse and I get a small hand and red box to try and pick it up and not able to. I uninstalled the game and put it back in and still nothing. I would like to get passed this part to move on. I bought the game to play. I am not gonna give up it I can get help I would really appreciate it.

I have made changes to make picking up the herb easier, if you could redownload the game and try again, I would appreciate that. Let me know how it goes, please.

Hi, should the Quest Journal be available, when I click on it in the menu, nothing at all happens? I get the kind of error beep from the system, but no dialogue or activity from the game.

That is a great shame that the book is not available, because there are no verbal signposts in the game either. Normally there is someone in the tavern, or in a house, somewhere, but there is nothing to make the game flow at all. I feel like I am running around just to find a possible entrance / exit that I have missed. So far have just found the first part of the artefact, but the only exit was back the way I came. Nobody in any way helpful there. This game could really do with more interaction, to steer players in the right direction, and make it feel more friendly. Maybe in the next one??

Crow I did what you suggested and it did nothing. My mouse does not work on the game only my keyboard works. So I don't know what to do now I am still stuck in the treasure vault trying to get the sage.
