Wouldn't it have been better to first finish the demo, since many of us would want to demo the game first to make sure it works all right?

I agree. I'm in the Caribbean and my download time is a humorous 23 hours at 9.1KB/sec. Oh well.

For some reason, I accidentally bought the NOTS product guide instead of the Laxius Soul guide, too.

I might be downloading on Monday instead when I get home.

I too got NOTS guide.

There seems to be an error in the link. When purchasing LS, and use the "You may also be interested in..." option for adding the LS guide, NOTS guide appears in the basket instead.
When using link for buying LS guide directly, then it seems to work.

I'll post this question here while I'm waiting for Indy to create a dedicated LS sub-forum.

If you paralyze an enemy, that enemy counts the same as being dead when determining you've won the battle. So if the only remaining enemy (or enemies) is a paralyzed one, the battle ends. As far as I can see thus far, this doesn't affect the total experience pts from being credited. I'm now replaying the grasshopper battle boss to see if it affects battle loot. I'm playing in normal mode.

I've found several hidden items but no secret rooms yet. I haven't yet had a chance to look at the guide.

EDIT-Just had a chance to look at the guide. First sentence clarified that this is indeed how paralyze was intended to work. Now I'm going to see if it affects battle loot.

It's the size of 4 games for the price of 2.
With the time and effort I put in this game I could have easily made 4-6 games like NOTS or Odessa.
I can't price it less or else I'd rather just make $15 "episodes" but in the end you'll get a fragmented series that will end up costing you more. If you want, just imagine you're getting two games at once - you won't regret it!

The last of us is 60 euro and hogwarts legacy is also 60 euro - this is on steam - so not entirely true

Re: price-I don't think anyone could reasonably expect this 2023 game to cost the same as I, II, or III. While I expected $30-$35, I didn't balk to the $40 price because the price for the guide was so reasonable. And it's a 240 page guide, so I think $6.99 is more than reasonable.

Re: Battle loot dead vs paralyzed - I did replay the praying mantis (sorry I called it a grasshopper in an earlier post) boss, killing it rather than paralyzing it. The first (paralyzing the boss) awarded me 2 praying mantis eyes, and the second (killing the boss) awarded me just 1 praying mantis eye, so I think there's no penalty in not doing an outright kill.

Graphics are gorgeous and the mapping is just beautiful!
