Well, I reinstalled the game tonight and I still can't get the soup because I talked to the lady before getting the quest. No fix, no soup for her! Damn.

I went back to an earlier save and got the soup.

Now I'm at the 7th Shrine. I have explored the whole place as far as I can tell, but I can't get through the gate to where Sarah is. What have I missed?

You also need LUK. The Casino book you can buy in Forlani helps with this.
You also need her to be full HP/MP, as you'll need to survive 3 unavoidable hits.

You might want to try re-entering the Iron Manor before you get too far. I tried leaving, levelling a bit and returning, but Louthros wouldn't let the party enter a second time. I think he said something like it was a waste of time.

It should also be noted you can buy that book before entering the Kezzenaar guard.
(I don't think you can go back if you've gotten the "quest" book already.)
Or at least, you should.
It helps Sandy a lot, since her skill is based on luck.

Anyone with some advice for the fight with Yveen and Baretta vs those ugly faces? I keep getting creamed!

Hi, everyone!

While grinding, I noticed that Sarah learns her Revive spell on level 20. Is there any intelligent way we can practice this spell, up to 250 uses? It is not easy to have well trained characters faint on purpose 250 times! The same question applies for any similar Revive spell, of any character!

There are items which, when equipped, add +1 use to all skills, all spells, or all technics (both skills and spells) for each successful battle, so no need to faint on purpose.

Also in harder modes and with some optional bosses, it tend to, ahem, naturally happen more than one might expect at first! +::biggrin

I think there is no obvious solution besides properly training Baretta beforehand to ease her dreamscape exploration. Getting her the best equipment possible, too. Yveen is a defensive characters and has different boosts which may help as well.
