Finished the Game

I'm going to try to avoid spoilers here...

I finished the game, both endings. The fan section made me smile. Thank you Indy. <3

Some thoughts re: Characters and Character Art
Spoiler: show
It was nice not to see those exaggerated cleavages. I thought the RTP characters were thoughtfully chosen and assigned, with the exception of Luke. Not Indy's fault, I've just never been a fan of that particular hero. Images are fluff, though, with the real substance in the development of the characters and the dialogues that tell the story. My favorite character was Kraken with Lexus running a close second. Piper was a goody-goody, not quite as strong a character as Penelope in FH, but definitely contributed to the lore and was a great healer.

Some thoughts re: The Guide
Spoiler: show
Definitely helpful. Indy took the players' reactions to the FH guide to heart and made sure to give more detailed information in how to complete quests. I have 2 concerns, and they are both very late game. I think the guide should state you have one chance, and one chance only, to return to Faust from the Drone area. Even if you answer, "No, don't return now,' that still counts as your one and only chance, so best to not even go there until you've obtained the Astral Wings (and it's great that the guide mentioned you should get those wings before returning to Faust).
However, the old guy's (Ian I believe) final quest which asks for the code name... I think it's kind of an easter egg for those who bought the guide since I don't believe it can be solved without the guide (cute dialogue when you enter the correct code name, though). Even if you did return to the Drone to access the database, Kraken wouldn't let me return to Faust a second time. I may be wrong about this since I didn't test this theory. That said, if it was intended to be a reward for those who bought the guide, then I think a really unique reward should be given. I would suggest an item that prevents random encounters in previously explored areas but that's just wishful pleading. :)
Overall, the guide was really very well done, both in terms of the listings of game abbreviations/available relics/available Ultima spells and information for game progress/quest completions.

Thoughts regarding gameplay
Spoiler: show
I had no trouble with lagging, unexpected crashes or any other detrimental effects. The game ran very smoothly without glitches and it was fun to play.

Thoughts regarding quests
Spoiler: show
Pretty straight forward if you have the guide, but absolutely doable without the guide, exception being Ian's second quest as mentioned above. Hermione's quest lacks a description in the item menu, so it's easy to forget what she wanted.

Overall thoughts on the game
It was a fun game to play. I wouldn't consider this to be one of Indy's masterpieces, but, let's face it, that bar has been set pretty high by Indy himself. That said, it's a really good game and worth the asking price. It took me a bit to warm up to the game. I wasn't a fan of the first dungeon, but once I got my first goddess to accompany me, I very quickly warmed up to the game and that warm feeling remained throughout the game. A definite +::Thumbup from me.

Aha! So maybe I should have tested it out. I'll do that soon.

Edit re: Ian's 2nd quest IS solvable without guide
Spoiler: show
As Indy said, you can, indeed, solve Ian's quest without the guide as Piper gives you that 'exceptional authorization.' Make sure you complete all the other quests in Faust before returning to the Drone as Piper is very strict about returning ONLY to calm Ian.
