It has been mentioned by @Lady_JJ, but I thought I did something wrong.

Apparently, if you even answer "No" to using the Transporter to return to Faust it is considered an attempt. Seriously? That doesn't make sense after doing everything to gather items to solve the remaining quests in Faust. I think this event needs an edit.

For example, a Police office says, "Do you want to rob a bank?"
"No"
"You're under arrest for attempting to rob a bank."

You have been warned! DO NOT interact with the repaired transporter unless you are ready to return to Faust and complete everything. There is apparently a minor exception with Ian, but you will not be affected if you have the guide.
