I apreciate that you gave a lot of info because it's nice to see another person interested in my curiosities ... especialy now since I go through though times in real life and I feel alone and abandoned by everybody
@MerryX and @ZuluKat
I guess it won't be released today after all. I think it's after Indy's bedtime now.
@Darkange
Yep, life can suck right now. But hang in there during Indy's next release and who knows how uplifting helping others succeed might make you feel.
I'm glad you appreciated my rather long explanation of Kamehameha Day, because I love the time period from when Capt. Cook "discovered" Hawaii in 1778 to the mid-1800's when King Kamehameha III initiated the great mahele. And then later in the 1890's when American businessmen and sugar cane growers overthrew the Hawaiian government and locked up Queen Liliuokalani.
It is one one of the most important 100 years in the timeline of Hawaii.
As for it being good story material, I agree. In fact, it is a loose premise of a game I have been developing with a polynesian theme. The main characters are Keoki (secretely a prince who has issues), Morley (a mind mage with issues), Mekotay (a battle monk with issues), Flash (a spy/rogue with no issues but lots of enemies), and King Kimo (yeah, I know but I couldn't help it.)
RPG games are a lot of work and require incredible dedication. I highly respect anyone who has even completed 1 game. And Indy's games are the best I have ever played, so I guess they are worth waiting for.
