There is supposedly a recipe (SQ#6) you can get by talking to the guy in the Metal Workshop after defeating Kraken. There is no mention of a recipe except from Kraken who gives you headwear if you have enough specialty ores on hand.

How do I complete SQ#6? Where's the recipe I need for Suze in Faust?

I don't have anywhere enough money to buy the many upgrades to equipment and weapons that are available in the Metal Workshop. I think 10k Gold would be enough. Anone have some to spare a poor adventure in need?

Does anyone have advice on what I should buy? +::Dunno

I'd sell relics if I could.

I believe spending some cash (less than 10k) triggers a new option and then spending some more on this triggers the recipe.

Has anyone gotten the recipe? I was able to get to a point where the metal workshop guy (Caroll) offered to upgrade ("metallize") 4 items bought for SQ#3 for 300 gold each. I only had 1 of them and he also lowered the price a bit.

BUT, I have still not been offered the recipe I need for SQ#6. Anyone been able to get the recipe? I only have 5000 gold available. Do I need more to be offered the recipe? This game really requires lots of gold to succeed.

Kraken only offers to use his recipe to make some equipment. As a warning, if you haven't given Ores to SQ#6 person, you will probably wipe out your inventory by having Kraken and not be able to finish SQ#3 EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE RECIPE! +::grrr

I'm not budging until I get an answer! +::sos

EDIT: I have sold everything and bought 10k worth of stuff. Still no offer of a recipe. Anybody able to finish SQ#6? Even after leaving the Workshop with Kraken there is no mention of a recipe. BTW after you leave the workshop

I tend to think it happens if you metallize stuff rather than purchase a lot of stuff.

beside the 4 items you need for sq3 in the harpy shop buy 3 more different items. In the workshop buy 2 weapons to get the upgrade option. Upgrade the 3 items from the harpy shop and you get the recipe.

I used the saint pass to go and buy items from the harpy before fighting kraken. In metal fortress had Piper equipt with the kings rod to have enough money for the weapons. You can sell the weapons back after getting the upgrade option.
