What do you like best for exploration in your rpg games?
Wandering around wilderness, exploring houses and towns, castles and dungeons or something else?
Just wondering

As a player, I like best a huge world with remote and weird places - often populated with strong monsters so that I can test my party's power to them.
I like to be surprised in a game.

be it a forest or a dungeon or anything else ,its what's found inside that matter

I like exploring anything, as long as it has identifying markers along the way. What I mean is, sometimes I get frustrated in woods and caves, b/c it all starts looking the same, and I can't remember which way I was going to or coming from.

I find that castles/houses are usually different enough between rooms and floors to not get so confused. But exploring in general is fun, as long as I'm not overwhelmed by monsters, and there's fun stuff to find.

I like exploring everything and anything it is the anticipation of finding something good.

Giant dungeon/castles! Hopefully with lots of juicey and varied opponents and a surprise dungeon or two. *drooling* As long as I have plenty of restoritives and time, I just love killing stuff. Muahahahahahaha!

I love to explore new cities. When I reach a totally unexplored town I get so excited that I have to see every corners

I enjoy being totally caught off guard. When you think things are safe then you get hit from all angles. To me surprises are fun and challenging. I would like to see strong monsters come out of no where and really go to work on my game players and attempt to make mince meat out of them.

I enjoy exploring everything and good RPG's will let you do that. To me exploration is one reason why I play. I like non linear games so I as the game player can decide where I want to go next. Non linear games are important to me.

Ahh...exploration entails anything and anywhere Well...especially if there are goodies to be had

The reward is the key part of the exploration.

I like finding out of the way places that aren't easily seen. Like walking into a small hollow in the mounainous terrain of the world map and finding a suprise optional dungeon.
