Help! Getting mushrooms for school

Hi all!

Just wondering how to get past the "monster" outside of Rillia to get mushrooms for the school! It has been bugging me for hours and I can't figure it out

I think I used Sarah's swamp corruption (or corrosion?) spell.

If I remember correctly, it's weak to venom, and looses about 400 + each round with it. Then you just have to keep on beating and reviving charas.

what level must you be to beat the monsters on mountain., How do kill that single monster blocking path up & how do you get the mushrooms? Thanks Brain162

Use sarah's stat boosting spells to beef up your party and wail on it with Random's strongest skills. I believe I used Luci's Mind Blast spell to mute it the used Flare for damage. If you use Guandia, probably stick to his Kamikaze or Phantasmose (or whatever it is) skill. I used Herasia for this battle.
