Marshland Question

I'm at the save bunny south of the poles with the red beads (the place where the tribe was going to boil the elf). Can someone please tell me how the heck to get out of the marshlands from that spot? I've been lost for what seems like years. Thank you!!

A quick tip for when exploring, always keep either to the left hand edge or right hand edge. If you keep to the left then always take left hand turns. If you keep to the right, take right hand turns.
That way unless there's a disconnected loop you'll always visit every location.
