Witchwoods - hunt for the animals?

I have killed all of the powerful demons, the Wrath type ghost/demon, that was disguised as the little old lady, the Spider and the one at the top part of the cliff at the northern most area and I have left and come back several times w/Random's ability (to get more supplies). Yet< I cannot find Choupie or the other pets...is there something I'm missing here. -vodunlady

Have you made it to the manor with the 3 doors inside?

Yes, I'm in the section with the Waxworks of Random and it looks like Luciana. I think I read something that the levers all over the house have to be clicked in the on position, is this true? And also, from what i've read people are writing about the key from the spider room to open the door behind the skeleton picture, which from where i stand on the outside of the gate the pictures of the matron of the house are hanging on the wall except for the skeleton pix in the middle, if that is the one that everyone is writing about ,how is everyone getting in to that room past the locked gate. I love the difficulty of this game, but i've never gotten so frustrated by any other game! H E L P - H E L P - H E L P !

p.s. - also, while I'm writing, I haven't been able to find a sewer gate to get into the library's secret room and my characters are pretty all at Level 57, i kill everything in site...that's killable that is...that's another Help, When I get too frustrated I go into another save game and work on that round so I've actually got two, sometimes 3 games going at once. did you have any luck? I am in the same place cannot find the animals and just about to give up on the game. Bring on AVEYOND in may!!!!
