Lava shield and Oraklion

I have 2 glitches in my game. I am in sankte leone and I did the imp quest and went to the cabinet to get the relic back and it wasn't there. Also, There is no lava shield in my game lava field and the relic quest doesn't show in my quest book. Have I missed something important? Thanks.

The Lava Shield has been in the same place since the game was first released... never moved. It's not required in any quest though.
The Oraklion can be picked back again after the main quest only iirc.
