Benevolent ring?

Hi guys!
When Sarah equips the Benevolent ring a new spell appears. It gives me the possibility to break the ring and release its power permanently.
The question is: Should I break it?

breaking it will give you a fixed boost
while equipping it may result in a bigger boost than if it is broken

Equiping it does give a bigger boost....but there were other items I would rather have equiped...so I broke it

Yes I tried and it gives a small boost to the healing spells. But it's not a great item so I think I'll break it. Thank you all!

According to my beta-tester it is a better deal to break it.
