I restarted my game to make sure I got everything, now when I find the crypt where berretta was, she isn't there and the tomb is locked. Am I missing something else?

have u passed the marshlands before going to her?

Yes I did. I am guessing by your reply that I shouldn't have. I got captured.

Once captured Baretta "vanishes".
I would recommend the following though, play the game entirely first, and make mistakes, loads of them lol, but finish it.
Then only tackle the perfect file.
I know very well how you feel - as a player myself I love to do everything. But I don't recommend it before you have actually completed the game once.

I wouldn't worry about it. Think of it this way-you'll have another reason to replay the game! Not that one ever needs a reason to play or replay this game.
