Has anyone been able to find the Sceptre of the demon called Uzair for Baretta?

Hint: You have to pay attention to a certain statue and what is written there.

Has anyone managed to beat the demon yet? What level were you, and what steps?

It will depend on what mode you chose - I did have to level up by a few to be able to get past him but there is good quick experience to get with the monsters there so it shouldn't take too long.

about LV 25.

*Sigh* I've been trying to kill this Uzair demon guy for ages. My chars are level 26 and higher but it doesn't seem to work. He keeps poisoning me and Beretta isn't any help.

Any strategy would be nice

I'm playing in hard mode...

This guy is really giving me a hell of a time...

Have Guanidia and Random partnered yet? I can't remember what it was but once they joined at partnership then he became much much easier to defeat.

he is very tough in hard mode

you have to be able to face a lot of rounds before u kill him - that means having a lot of items in stock

if random and guanidia have a lot of friendship, it can help

Well, Guanidia and Random are already soulmates (happened around lvl 24) and Random gets an extra hit every time Guanidia uses magic attack.
But as Random gets entangled so often, this still doesn't help

I'll probably have to go back to the nearest town to get myself some items.

I haven't beat the demon yet but I'm working on it! My Random and Guanidia are partners but I'm not at level 24 yet, so I think I'll have to get more EXP before I try again. Another thing I noticed is that we fight the demon until we run out of supplies. Once we run out, we die. It looks like I'll have to buy TONS MORE supplies in addition to leveling up. You guys let me know if there's a better strategy!

buying tons of supplies prior to entering the swamp (and crypt) is an excellent idea
