There are two doors each behind a metal gate in 2 parts of the sewers. Does anybody know how to open these?

Has it anything to do with the blue handle that shakes the screen when clicked on?

As far as I can see there are only 2 switches in the sewers, 1 opens the gateway to Library Catacombs, do we know what the other switch does?

As far as I know those are just to drive you nutters.
