Is there any downside to accepting the quest (Well, except for the poor murdered man, that is)?

If there are, I haven't run into them yet. But by accepting the quest, you can join a guild, and get some goodies/bonuses, so I think it's worth it to do it.

Hehe, do it, even if it's just for the pre-fight strikes your heroes can obtain. Nothing like killing the monsters before the fight even starts.

What quest was this? Was this in hall of madness?

you get from the hooded man in the far end of rillia's entrance.do the quest, you have a new guild.then you get this assasin quest from there

yes i like the quest cause the guild helped me weaken my enemies before they fought me so they had less hp when i fought em and i could 1 hit them

Never saw any hooded man at any rillian entrance the first time i played, was he at the mountain entrance or the witchwood entrance?

That's because he's not in Rillia.

He's all the way down the screen when you enter SankT Leona.

lozl i found him cause tht kid in SankTLeona told me where he was XD

Actually if you don't talk to the Tax collector before you get the quest from the assassin's guild...all you have to do is steal the reports...you don't have to kill him!

Found this out after I had to restart and was lazy and didn't talk to him first.
