I am at levels 29 Random, 27 Sarah, 28 Guanidia, and 22 Barretta. What kind of moves should I be using to kill him? Should I just ignore all his other monsters that he calls up and concentrate on him? Should I level up even more?

Levelling up is a certain solution.
I think Sarah has a good spell to kill the snakes if she is not busy.
But I recommend to heal regularly party members with her spells, too.
It's been a long time for me so my memory is a bit blurry....

Thanks, but I realized that I was getting poisoned all the time, so I used equipment to help prevent that and kill him fairly easily.
Now to find the three plants.

You can equip the staff on Sarah's left Hand you got from Elf Guild of Mont Zulle. That makes Sarah's Holy Words spell 0 MP which is a Holy Spell and is very useful against Uzair.

My strategy for Uzair:
Random - Power Strike or Attack
Sarah - Attack Up, Defense Up. If Snakes appear, then Chysalid Twister; if Spirit appears, then Holy Words on it. Otherwise, Holy Words on Uzair
Guanindia - Kamikaze, mainly because it hits and makes Random hit again
Baretta - Go-go-go and defend
I had to use only one reviving item - Baretta got killed by a direct hit.
Not a very difficult fight, but I had to reload twice to get the optional drops.
