When she levels up, her mind sort of gets lower! I thought it was due to equipment at first, but it persisted even after I removed all the equipment. Her status shows the lowered value.

If it's not the equipment...did you double check her status, to make sure she wasn't Cold/tired/Burnt etc...?
So far everytime that's happen to me it's been Equipment or status. +::Dunno

I can attribute this with certainty to her geomancy skill. Her MN stat as shown in her status window should match the "decreased" value you see after fights. It seems the effect of geomancy are only visible in battle.

It's quite confusing since there's no explanation of the different geomancy effects.

No, it reappears every fight. That's when I noticed it decreasing.

Yes, I checked her status every time, it was normal...

Thanks for the answer! So, then there's no way to fix it? Oh well, at least now I know what is it.

It's a boost during battle. It goes back to the normal value at the end of the fight.

It's a good thing.

That freaked me out too, at first, but I made a note of the numbers and realized it was going back down to the same level, so it's just a mid-battle boost being removed. It's OK.
