I've gotten to the factory, have visited with the man and the crazy girl, hit all the switches, opened the doors, and entered the rooms, then turned all the switches off and entered the room with the pink button (and all the screaming) that leads to the stairs. But when I get to the stairs themselves, there's a gate. The "crazy girl' says that it's designed to keep people from entering the stairs until their minds are strong enough. I'm using my four strongest characters and the "mind up level 2" formula. Everyone's powers are well over a 1000 (except for Spark and I think he's at just over a 1000) and I've armed them all with weapons that raise their mind scores; All four are at level fifty. What am I missing?
I did push the pink button but all that does is make it noisier.

Never mind. Got it.
Without giving too much away---I was really upset for a minute. Then I was better.
Very clever.

I think you need to push the button from the top then go to the middle of the room and walk up there is a secret door in the middle of the room you ust can't see it. I am not sure if the button has anything to do with it just know tha you can only push it all the way down from one side.
