getting the aura bomb

I've got 50 kills for Herbert, but when I try to get the aura bomb at the Mage Guild, it says his weapon isn't strong enough. What does this mean? He has a titan javelin.

I leveled Herbert up till he learned Aura Bomb naturally, so I never ran into this myself.

Based on the text though, he probably needs a higher AT stat to qualify. If you have any weapons with a higher AT stat, try equipping it on Herbert. You can use a Silver Powder item on him to raise his AT stat by 25%, might give you the extra boost you need to pass. (I believe they sell this in the store located in the northeast part of town, the area with the Harpy Guild.) If you found it, the Orb of Chaos will also give a bonus to the AT stat when equipped.

That will hopefully give his AT stat enough of a boost to qualify. Otherwise he will just learn the skill naturally at ~Lv. 43 anyways.
