I'm trying to save the girl in the lizard village, but I can't get that quest to trigger. I've seen the girl talked to everyone in the village. I think the walkthrough said something about the top sylvan saying it's the rules and then killing the sylvan and having the whole village turn against you. Sounds like fun! But the only thing she says to me is something about her being peaceful.

near the entrance of the village, in the "house" above the entrance guard, you can annoy one of the sylvans by picking the right choices...

Edit: I eventually just started the whole game over because I missed so much. But yay! Lizard smackdown!
