What level and spell that I need to beat the video games. Sarah was very strong. Can I just finish another quest first ?

I think using the items sold in the building can be useful in those games.

Yeah, I remember the some of the attack items worked pretty well on them. They don't do an extreme amount of damage, but not much else you throw at them will either. % based attack items also worked well I recall, notably of which would be an explosive mushroom, or burning ground if you have any. It's been quite awhile since I would have done this, but attack items seem the best route to go. Just experiment to see if any of them work particularly well against certain opponents.

Otherwise, it's just one quest you'll miss out on; the game literally has over a hundred more of those to go around.

You can finish all of the other quests in that chapter first and then go back and do the video games. I found that it was a lot easier after leveling up some.
