i try to persuade lord palcon and it doesn´t work,i have joshua in my party and also the pheasants hat equipped,but he says, i have to own more pheasant tricks to persuade him. and when i talk to leni in the wanderers guild she didn´t give me guild points aswell.so i can´t do other quests for the guild,because my level is not high enough for the next ones. the quest doesn´t vanish from the list.

You need to have all persuade points that you colected until now and of course pheasant hat equiped, if you lost any chance to gain persuade points you can't persuade him.

Persuading him requires a perfect 69 Persuasion. (Assuming you have the latest version of the game, as the earliest versions of the game had a different requirement) This would include a total of 45 points from the Thief Guild, and 24 from the gable's cigar. I don't think having Marion or Joshua in your party, or having the luck ring equipped, etc., actually does anything beyond that.

thanks to all for reposting,i think it´s the thiefs guild that become lost my pers.pts.,at the moment with the hat on i have 49 or so in persuating.ok that means can´t finish the quest. but thank you for replying

Sounds like you missed the first persuasion boost from Bruberk then. (20 persuasion) The Thief Guild was not very friendly with how they hand out rewards, and it's very common to miss some of them. Stick with what D-squall said and you should be able to complete the quest in LF2.
