I'm doing what it says in the walkthrough to get what am i doing wrong i haven't gotten him yet

you must have two item in order to get cocka cocka. first is bird nest and second is feather mattress.

I, too, am having difficulty getting the character, Cocka Cocka to emerge.

(I am replaying the game) ... basically, my problem is that when I am offered the screen to type in the word "bird nest"
someone has typed in D U N N O ... and I cannot figure out HOW TO GET RID of that word "DUNNO" so that I can keyboard "bird nest" in its place!

I have tried backspace on the QWERTY keyboard; I have tried the arrows in the lower right hand corner; I have tried combining ALT or CTRL with a "blank" from the selection of letters ... NOTHING WORKS.

In other words, the following occurs: I am in the Lizard Town, and I click on item, "feather mattress" ... which then brings up the screen that offers: D U N N O

Whenever I try to keyboard, it turns out like this: D U N N O B I R D N and then it stops and will go no further.
I realize that I must delete DUNNO, and then insert BIRDNEST ... but I cannot do anything with "DUNNO" in there. Can you assist me in how to get rid of "DUNNO"????

Press 0 in the number pad to erase the DUNNO word.

You'll also be pleasantly surprised when Cocka Cocka does a "Cocka needs LEVEL"!!!
But then he can no longer be my 'Baby'

50 more levels and he can be your baby again (well... sort of xD)

That would make me his Grandma by then! But the change in power was an utter surprise this time...only cause I'm trying to take things a step at a time with the walkthrough. Still jumping all over the place tho, so I'm having to go back a save if I miss completing a quest on the board. (Well...if I pick up that quest to begin with..and I know I've still missed some )

Yup yup..it did..it did... with all of them! But only tried it after all the major fighting there was done and waiting for Sarah and now....Cocka Cocka..my BIG BIRD now...can whomp the squids, too!!!!

PS..I can actually pay just a bit more attention to what I'm doing now this time around

CC can become really strong if you train him well. definitely a huge asset to the team.
