Anyone else having problems with huge lag when fighting? The game works fine. The characters walk around the map and interact in normal time, but the fights are lagging, taking more than sixty seconds for an easy fight.

Are there some settings that can be changed or something to fix this?

I turned off the music and it helped some.

Hit F1 and uncheck Play BGM and ME. I also unchecked Reduce Screen Flickering.

Unchecking Smooth Mode may also be able to help.

Can't say I've experiences any slowdown what-so-ever. In fact, battles are as fast as they were in Laxius Force.
Maybe try upgrading your graphics card. Some hp/compaq/pre-built systems come with crappy inbuilt videocards that struggle enough just handling the desktop theme of Windows Vista/7, let alone playing games.

I have Windows 7 and I have noticed that the game runs slower in windowed mode than in fullscreen.
