Has anyone managed to get the chest and reach the fairies in this insane but clever maze?

What is the deal with all those mirrors

OBTW if you manage to find this place it is a good idea to have plenty of empty phial's

i tried everthing i could think of but no luck. if you figure anything out i'd be happy to know too.

Same here, I have collected a lot of great stuff btw. I think I will have to come back to this area later.

I clicked on loads of plants and got a few potions but not much. I am only an expert botanist. Do I come back here again when I am a master botanist and find more. Is this how it works?

No, being Master gives you items from more plants, and same for Guru.
If you are "only" expert, "complicated" plants wont give you anything.

Well, that's good to know, because I was worried that I was taking an Expert-level potion from plants that later I would have been able to get something better from.

As for the maze itself, was there some particular thing I was looking for? I might have found it, but after a while I was simply worried that I would never ever leave! Did you ever hear that the way to always exit a maze is to always keep in contact with one wall and follow it from beginning to end? You may have to do a lot of backtracking and you may make mistakes but eventually you will reach the end. (Altogether I think I spent, like, over 10 hours in the Frozen Woods, and it's contents. And I didn't even make a REALLY thorough search of some places. Waaah, do I really have to go back there? . ) I wish there was some way to reduce the encounter rate like in Millennium, at least under certain circumstances (like I've already got the main treasure). I realize there has to be some difficulty to the game, but sometimes, all you're doing is trying to do is retrace your steps (for example).

I think those faces in the mirrors are Indy staring out at us laughing cause he are lost!!

I went back later and got a lot more stuff but not from plants. A bunch of those smoke things appeared. I was looking for Runes. Didn't find one there though.
