I just talked to the dwarf that sayed he has a flying machine that dosen't work.There are 2 caves:the one with the chest and no dwarfs there and an other one that is full of cristals and has a dwarf in it.Wich one of these is the one with the diamond he needs?

I know that,but there is just a place called "Cave" and one called "Machine room".Which one is the right one?

Yeah, I meant the cave where the inventor (aka Sterling) is.

From where I enter the place where I find Sterling ,do I have to enter an other cave?

yes, another cave, that is on the map, to the north/west of the inventor's cave
