I keep walking around in the catacombs. Somehow I always end up in this round room with a purple floor, and can't get out. So I use egress and stand on the doorstep again. Where do I have to go?

I think this is the room where you have to go to the middle of the room where all the save fairies are in a circle. Use one of the save fairies then click on the item in the middle of them. Major battle will happen and then you will end up in another area.
