I've gathered items along the way that seem like good tools to have, but it appears that all I can do with them is sell them. Can anyone tell me what to do with things like the Wisdom Purse, Krytonite, Critical powder, etc?

Hmmm I recall Kryptonite helps a lot the Regen skill.
Critical Powder also helps another one.
What does the item description say?

Critical Powder = Raise energy burst skill
Kryptonite = Raise regeneration skill
Wisdom Purse = Earn more XP from XP baskets

They all sound good, but they're greyed out in my items list most of the time. They only time they're not greyed out is when I'm selling something back to a vendor.

How can I use them????

They are used automatically (their presence is enough for their power to be used).
Of course if you do sell them the power goes away lol

Thanks Indinera! Thought that might be, but didn't know why you'd want to sell them then.

If you are using the skills they improve or planning to, then you should definitely keep them!

The kryptonite is awesome with the regen skill.
