Save point Center of World?

Is there a save point in the Center of the World somewhere? Got killed by spiders trying to get into cave after getting flying machine. Don't want to have to start way back in Silver Caves. Thanks!

I think you can save anywhere on the World Map?? I could be wrong though.

Thank you so much! I never noticed that before. Been struggling the whole game looking for places all along. Duh!
