Another Question for Indy

In one of your games, not sure which one at the moment, if you hit F12 during a battle it would take you back to the start screen of the game and let you reload to try again. Especially good during major battles where you are losing.

In this game when you hit F12, it takes you all the way out and you have to restart the game.

Is that by design or is it a change in the program you are using?

Just wanted to know.

No. I'm positive on this one. I will test when I get back from my road trip this afternoon. I have been drafted to be the chauffeur for a major shopping expedition in another state for my aunt and her friends. I drive, they shop and pay for gas and my lunch and everyone is happy.

It is Laxius Force 1. It takes you back to the start screen where the Load option in. Millennium takes you out altogether. I like the first option better where you go to the reload screen if you can find out how it was done. For future games, if it is an easy thing to do.

I used that F12 a lot during Laxius 1. And got really used to it. Then you didn't have to listen to the whole dialogue with Yveen telling you to be careful and she was taking 10% of your money. I used it a lot with those vampires and demons where you found the seed pendant.

Have you installed a new operating system since then?
I am currently running Windows 7 and F12 exits the games (I have tried LF2 and BOTM so far)
In Windows XP the program was restarted like it should.

No I am running XP, same as always. All the games were played on and are still installed on this machine. LF1 exits to the start screen, LF2 goes all the way out, 3 Stars goes all the way out. Millennium goes all the way out. I wondered if maybe if was a configuration issue on my end.

I really liked the way LF1 worked but if it is a lot of trouble to fix, it's not a problem.
