I have solved that quest. Get that pimento... from the swamp. When you enter the store let Marine eat it. Then talk to Isabelle. After a small dialogue she will be mad and oops the mirror cracs yeah, that's it.

Yeah,make sure you don't have the patience cape equipped on Marine;then use the swamp pimento on her.
