As far as we can tell, they are teasers. We haven't been able to figure out a way to open them.

Thanks. Here are some personal thoughts. Concerning the first door in sapphire cave, there is probably a link with these strange symbols on walls (written in the same red paint) or with the ghost that can be observed a few screens before the door.

and for another subject, i think there must be a way to lower the water level in entrance of sapphire cave, because we can see a blue orb underwater...
