Karine's Desintegration Spell helps. But I think you need to level up some. The Ant King is the hardest fight in the game in my opinion.

I think Hard Mode is the only one where you play all 40 quests and kill all 8 Animal Kings.

Hard Mode > 40 quests
Normal > 38
Easy > 35

Thanks for all those advices. I noticed a weird sound at a rogue territory's tree , well to activate all the crystals in tha swamp area... maybe I'll do. Without defragmentation it's still possible to kill the ant king... ok let's see
