yeah i defeated the ghost but all he said was the howls or something was gone then Marine brags that she defeated it thats all. omg have i missed something?

That was not Jack, that was someone else. I'm talking about Jack hiding near some bushes right at the exit to Pinerock.

Yes, that's it! Talk to him after defeating the ghost but before getting their purse! You will get the coat then! +::Thumbup

that was what im saying, after defeating the ghost i talked to the two guys on the bush but i didn't receive anything. just the comment that it was rather silent.

Which mode are you playing I guess it may depend accordingly! But to be safe I would say around 18 and don't forget those canes, better lower your stats a bit by equipping them than have them lowered a lot due to vertigo!
As for the coat, I really don't know, I always got it from him after defeating the ghost but before retrieving the purse! +::Dunno

about the coat that was a big miss out. well i entered rocky pass already and that vertigo effect is really a pain. i manage to like go further with a level of 16 because i always use green orb which is really effective on golems and eagles, Jeane is a bit useless here though her sparkle don't affect golems. oh and yeah how do you freakin defeat the freakin mother ant everytime i hit her hard she hits back with a deadly attack that kills me instantly.

The ant is the toughest boss in the whole game... you might want to leave her for later! +::Thumbup

Follow the maps and if you don't have enough restorative items stick to the main path as you can always come back later and pick up remaining items! +::Thumbup

woah this is a long adventure. can't i get out of the place first and return some of the quest items so i could earn coins to restock some potions?

After Karine joins you, you can't leave Bogobaka until you've defeated the rogue croc! However, she has a friend selling potions behind Tamara' house (the witch to be), so you can go to her and try to restock, she will probably buy some of your monster droppings although I'm not sure how good her rates are!
