You've got to work your way back through the lava into the cave system and work your way north. Took me ages to get it, good for leveling up.

Can someone give me an idea of where the temple is? I have been wandering around the sapphire cave forever! Please help!!!

Go up the stairs to and then to the far west room in Sapphire caves. If you have Hirado with you, you should be able to go through the fireplace in that room, into the temple area!
