i found only 9 snakes... i think 6 in the green fields and 2 in the scarlet river. someone remember if there is a snake in other place?

I had the same problem, and finally got a tenth one in the area of green grass where you put the orb
of valor into the shrine. It may have something to do with wearing the glove. Seems like it showed up
when I took the glove off!!!??

i think there are also 2 in pinerock. i got a total of 13 snakes so i know there are definitely some extras around.

I found more than that in my first game, but when I was making an effort to find them, they were no where about. I think Indy is telepathically controlling this game! Yikes!!

This may seem like a dumb question but I have to ask. Do you need to have certain equipment in order to do this, particular characters or have triggered events of any kind?

My question is......are there different snakes then the ones I see. I see what looks like green snakes but they have grey marks around their heads. I can't pick them up like I did the frogs, so I am confused.

I found 10 in green grass area, 2 in Pinerock, and 1 in Scarlet River.

I have the same problem as VKvern. I can see them (thanks Dee and saw them previously) but I dont know why I am not able to pick them up. I have the dark glove equipped (I haven't had that exorcised yet) and was curious whether that was affecting my ability to pick the snakes up. Anyway I shall persevere regardless and hopefully come up with the solution, the armour would be cool.

I bought the Scaled Glove at the Mystrock Armory to use for snakes. I saved and equipped the Dark Gloves and when it showed them as Cursed, I reloaded the game and haven't equipped them again.

I figured it was cheaper to buy the Scaled Gloves than it was to pay to have the Dark Gloves exorcised.

It's not from the armory but from the general store!

Yes, they have unlimited scaled gloves!
