totally lost

First of all: Indinera, thank you for again a lovely game to play!! I just love Millennium. I am completely addicted again!
I hope you can help me with my problem: I am completely lost in the Ancient Temple and the Sapphire cave. I want to get out but I can't find the way out to the Green Grass Area (?). Could you please help me? Thank you!

You can find some help in the Shrine of Myst that is outside the Cave.
You can also find some great help from the luminous pillars at the entrance of the Temple.

I have no trouble leaving the Temple (but thanks to you I found the Silver Sword!) but I can't get out of the Sapphire cave. I must probably make the same mistakes over and over again. I saved the game when I entered the Sapphire cave but I overwrote this file, quite stupid, so I can not see what the entrance looked like. Maybe that would give me a clue. I am still lost
Could you give me an idea of the direction I have to take from the Temple to the exit of the Sapphire cave? Thanks Indinera!
