The walkthru says:
•Go to the Rocky Path and rest at the Monastery.
• Exit the Monastery and go back where you first met Balnard.
•Go east, south then east again until the end of the ledge.
•Jump right to find a secret room and to exit the Rocky Path.

I went to the secret room and got all the red orbs. But I ended up in the Marshlands of Myst on the backside to the mountains where there are 2 caves.

I backtracked and tried again but now I cannot enter the secret room !!!!!

Am I in the correct place?

Also I found another spot with the white (?) fire but could not take it. Is this OK?

You can only do that secret room once. Just go back the route that you took when you backtracked and explore the area where you landed. There's a cave that takes you to a secluded valley (world maps). There you will find a shrine and then a cave that is the Saphire cave system.

The cave is within the Rocky Path ?

When you retrace your route on the Rocky Path from the valley, you will find that there is a cave in the valley on the world map and it takes you to another world area and that's where the shrine and the saphire cave are located. Be aware that the fights are pretty tough to get to the cave! Hope this helps.
