I asked this question elsewhere but it seems not to have been noticed there, and I don't understand why I can't find where someone else may have asked this question before. Seems like an obvious question, but maybe everyone knows something I don't?

On the final save for the next episode it says, use a new slot or it can't be used for the next episode. Of course I've used all my save slots many times in the 70+ hours I've been playing the game, so does this mean I can't save for the next time? Thanks!

You can choose any slot that is just an in-game reminder/option for you to choose a new slot to save, since after you do, you won't be able to load it again in this chapter!
