In the BFG walkthrough,

Hit the lighting receptacle to call the Ghost and his boat. He will bring you to the Light Swamp.
There are two secret areas he can take you but they are random with a very low probability of showing up.

Has anyone found these? My question is when the Ghost says "are we going to the swamp" will he say something different if he is about to take you to a secret area or will he just take you to the swamp and it will look different the the regular swamp? I keep saying yes and he hasn't taken me anywhere different.

You have to keep trying! Just go back and forth with him and he will take you! and when he takes you to SR 8, be sure and look for SR 9 on the rock you can jump to on the left!

Ok, he finally took me there. But I cannot jump to the rock. I tried all along the path and cannot jump anywhere. I can see the jump shoes when I move my mouse over near the rock, but I do not see any jump shoes anywhere FROM the main path TO the rock.

After reading through the secret rooms thread, I see that I need the jumping shoes to access it. Haven't got those yet, so I'll just come back to this room later.
