Small abandoned village?

I am ready to leave Festina to go looking for the Rogue. Marine says we are to go to a "small abandoned village in the east." How do I get there? Do I have to go back through Scarlet River??

Yes. Go back thru Scarlet River and then go west to the Rocky Path.
