So for you guys and gals who played both..... which is the winner of this showdown, and why?

1. 3 Stars because the heroes were familiar. I've know Random and Sarah and Lucy since LP1and I played that game repeatedly for a long time, over and over and over. LP2 not so much but LP3 again over and over.

2. Millennium because it will continue with M2 and M3 and M4 and M5 which will hopefully be just as good as M1.


Flip a coin and the winner is. It's a tie. They are both great in their own unique way so I can't choose. Sorry.

Sorry, but I had to agree with Dee! They are each unique and loads of fun to play! Haven't finished MM yet, cause I've been mapping and that takes time!
Love the new artwork in MM, fell in love with all the characters in LP1 and haven't fallen out of love with them yet! Really like Marine a lot! What a gal! And the dungeons are really fun! (Haven't figured out how to map the swamp so that you can see it yet.... oh, well)
Now waiting for some more!! In either series!

Well on Facebook I've announced a crazy timetable but who knows?....
Asguaard in November
Millennium 2 in December
Legend in January

It's kinda unfair to compare a complete game against a part, but 3SoD is better for me, no doubts about it.
The main difference is in combats - 3 Stars has much more complex system of spells, skills and statuses and I enjoyed it much more than fights in Millennium.
Also, things like Arena, Peak of Heroes or Nirum set is something than Millennium cannot offer.
And last, Ozur was an awesome final boss, there's nothing comparable in Millennium.

I consider 3SoD as a stand-alone game, because you can complete the story. I know that it's a prequel to LP and LF, but still, you can play only 3SoD and be ok with it.
On the other hand, playing only Millennium : A New Hope and skipping the other two parts doesn't make much sense. For me, Millennium is one game and A New Hope is its part, therefore you could compare Millennium : A New Hope to a part of 3SoD, but not to the whole game.

Well, you are right, if Millennium: A New Hope isn't a complete game, then the same is true for LP1. I guess that I just considered the Millenium the same category as LF, because it has three parts, too.
And LF is one game for me, because it was formerly developed as LP4, also, there are quests in LFI that you may only complete in LFII and so on.

None of my games so far have no sequel lol

Even BoH and LT have sequels (if I could be given the time to make them)

You said Legend in January. What is Legend??
