Sorry because i must say this but this game is a real shit. It is the most worst game from indinera. I haven't seen a rpg game without golds from monsters. This is real shit.

Meh... Learn to play a game instead of saying silly things, or at least make an effort.
The gold is contained in the monster drops instead of given directly.
Dragonflies have a 80% chance of dropping their wings. It's very easy to make a lot of money once you've understood the simple mechanism of the game.
A bit of innovation does not hurt, no?
Anyway - your loss. +::Dunno

EDIT: the new build lets you begin with 250G in very easy mode. Try this one!

In my opinion, the lack of gold makes it a better game. You are not being handed everything, you are being made to work for it. Even if the dragonflies and bees only dropped 1 gold, you would walk around and kill them for that one gold. The dragonfly wings sell for 2 gold in Green Grass and the Raw Honey for 6 (unless you have the Noble Ring). So what's the difference.

Of course, that would mean you would have to actually walk back to Green Grass.

If you want easy, I suggest you play Solitaire or a Match Three game. Sound more like your speed to me.

You can sell stuff to any shop anyway so you will never get 0G from wings, or meats, or honeys when comes the moment that you have to buy something from a common store.
Yes it's the same in the end but some people just don't want to make any effort.
Assuming the poster played my other games (and all the difficult tasks they had in them), I find it quite amazing that having to sell the dropped items is such a monstrous task. +::Dunno

Imo starting with nothing makes you more creative and makes you work out a better stategy for playing the game.

I've found you don't needed much gold if you level the character up and find the drops. The only thing I bought during this game was the things from the forge. I did contemplate buying armour and weapons but held back in case I found them - which in most cases you do. (I think Marine for me spent most of the game with the stick +::O_o )

Anyhow if you find the secret rooms there are gold in some of them.

It would be better if you gave the game a fair shot and then give a more balance opinion, people may react a bit more understandingly toward your opinion then.

Yes if you play smart you do not need the gold at all :)
I did it too in Normal mode and it was quite funny.

It would be better if you gave the game a fair shot

I think he just does not like the game, or does not want to allow himself a decent chance to like it, so he takes whatever he finds first to reject it. Meh.

for anyone needing gold:

A lot of monsters do not have gold in this game (like it would be the normal way), but they drop items, that you can exchange for money by selling them: Dragonfly Wings, Raw Honey, Muskrat Meat, Bear Meat, Precious Nuggets etc. are only a part of all the items you can sell for money.
There are also other ways to find gold: one of the wells in the Green Grass fields holds 500G, and playing in easy or very easy gives you 100G and 200G more from the start respectively.

Kyuubi, if you liked my other games and especially 3 Stars, I do recommend you give MM another chance, as my productions are often cohesive in the sense that they keep some similar appeals from one game to another - MM blends very well with the others. If you need help, this forum and the members are here to provide advices and hints. Hope this helps!

I doubt that Kyuubi is still even reading, but if he/she is, this is to him/her.

Kyuubi, if you're so upset that the monsters don't drop gold and that you have to go and sell what they drop in order to get gold, then this game is not for you. You don't have to be soooo rude about it. Just a simple 'I sure wish the monsters dropped gold' would have been fine. Seems to me you were just trying to stir things up. Hope you're satisfied. +::grrr

As for the rest of us, we LOVE Indy's games! +::YAY We love the challenge, the fights, the secret places, the quests, the side quests, the artwork and the music. A little thing like having to walk back into a store to sell stuff to get gold sure isn't going to bother us!

Hope you have given the game a fair chance and played it for awhile. If not, it's your loss!! +::biggrin

The ironic thing is that when you are to the moment that you need to BUY something, you can also SELL something just one click away. So basically you do not even really have to "walk to sell".... you'll sell just before buying.

Except at the Forge. That guy is cheap. He doesn't give you any money for some items.

Because he has no interest in your stuff.
But he is not a "common store", like I said.
