At some point, the water levels will drop - look at all the places now under water that have treasure chests or money bags, or orbs. I'm sure the Dragon's side kick will be responsible (he seems the more evil of the two).

I agree with rpgriki. I'm a magic wielder from way back, and always
name one of my mages after myself! This Oracle predicts magic
ahead, even if it is to strengthen the 13 before battle, or teach
them new skills. You can't keep a good mage down!!

But didn't Indy say you couldn't use magic in the final battle. So why get used to having it?

Maybe we will have to fight bosses before the final battle (it is only in chapter 5 afterall) that are insensitive to physical damages!

I think that the magic that they have now is more than enough. The only time I used any of it was when it was a major battle and then usually only the boosting spells like Red Orb and Barrier and Iron Hand.

Although Karine's Desintegration was a good spell also but it was basically the same as the others. They just evened the playing fields. Because of the cost of HP/MP items in the first part of the game, I got used to not using the spells unless totally necessary.

Plus a lot of the equipment also levels the playing field. There is one item that stuns, one or two that cause bleeding and my personal favorite by far, the morning star, causes Madness and makes me feel right at home .

Gotta agree, its my favourite too. Would love to have something like that on hand whenever I deal with any local/state/national govt agency

I'm not sure what the next installment has in store for Marine and her companions, but I agree, I think in the final one we'll have to fight the tournament in a series of epic one on one battles. And possibly a group battle when hte lords refuse to capitulate after you beat them.

I suppose I'll survive without magic, but just curious, isn't a fairy a magical
creature? I believe we DO have magic. It's just disguised as the Trickster is
so famous for. Never fear rpgriki, our magic is all around us! And,there's no
rule against magical weapons, armor, and items in the battle, is there? Maybe
the guy in the forgery, can make artifacts inspired by great wizards!
