Other modes of transportation besides walking?

I was wondering if at some point in the game, I will be able to get around the world map in a faster more efficient way than walking?
Will I get a plane? A Dragon? A Teleportation device?
I don't mind if you consider this a spoiler, I want to know now.

Nope. Marine will always walk. In MM1.

Marine is a peasant and this is meant to be a more realistic, less fantasy game.

horses = very expensive lol
beside they have no or very few horses (as seen in the game)
all they do is grow salads lol

Hmm, that's true, I don't think I have seen a single horse yet...

they are all very poor people, hence why marine wants to challenge the town
